No video while playing AVCHD files In Windows Media Player 12

I have been using Windows Media Player 12 in my system that is running on windows 7 and I was not having any problem in playing AVCHD files, it was running fine without any issues, since I have updated the NVIDIA graphics drivers I am able to play the AVCHD files in Windows Media Player but then I am getting only video and no audio, is there anyone who has an idea about the same and can help me out with it.

I am not very sure but then have you tried out converting the file from AVCHD to WMV and see if that is helping, I mean if it is playing properly with the audio as well as the video or not, if you have not yet tried out the same then just check it out and see what you get.

After your suggestion I have tried out the same but even after converting the files from AVCHD to WMV I am not able to get the video, if you want then you can go through the below attached file:
    DxDiag file
    Attached Files Attached Files

Even I am having the same problem, I am having ATI Radeon HD 5700 video card and I am running windows 7 in my system and the problem in my case has started after getting an automatic update of AMD Catalyst software, I was not having the same problem previously and I was getting audio as well as video but then after the update I am not getting video.

I think that you should get the following and then see if it is making any difference or not, I have found people mentioning that they are required to play these files in Media Center:
    • Win7codecs
    • x64Components addon

Just install them and see if they are helping
