WMP12 and Win7

Just got Win7 on new laptop and started transferring some of my mp3s. Two
problems

1) The MP3s do not show up in the library (music folder is being monitored)
and

2) When I delete the sample music they still show up in the library and I
cannot remove them

I have ran the WMP trouble shooter and it says the library is corrupt but it
does not offer any fix . This is new out the box and I only added a few
songs. How it is corrupted is beyond me. Tries uninstall and reinstall and
no help

Pictures work fine only music problems far

Thanks
Bill

RE: WMP12 and Win7

You might try the 'restore media library'

Re: WMP12 and Win7

Tried that an it worked once but every time I start WMP the files do not
show up in the library. I hope a restore is not necessary every time

Thanks

Re: WMP12 and Win7

Maybe a manual restore could help? Try following the instructions for
WMP 11 on Vista at http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#medialibrary
