Sirius Internet Radio will not play in WMP 11

WMP 11.0-6002-18065
Windows Vista Home Premium

When I launch Sirius Media Player and select music, the WMP tries to connect
then goes back to "Ready."

I checked FAQs for Sirius Radio and have performed all tasks they
recommended.

Try using another media player such as Real Player or VLC. What is Sirius MP
for anyway if you need WMP?

I had Media Player 11 installed on XP. I tried to roll back to Media Player 10. Bill Gates would not let me. So I went into regedit and deleted everything referencing to Media Player 11 and Media Fromat 11 Runtime. Once I deleted those two instances Sirius internte radio worked like a charm.
