DVD playback, inverted colors

Whenever I play a DVD, the colors of the movie are reversed. Green trees
appear bright purple. Blue skies and water appear orange and yellow. Is
there any way to correct this? This could ruin my new NetFlix subscription.
Thank you.

Well some or all Windows versions being stock can't see those videos
anyway. So what Windows version are you using? Did you install any third
party codecs to view these files? And what version of Windows Media
Player are you using?

Because you can see the video at all, you have codecs around.

So this would seem to be a video card driver problem initially: have you
checked for video card driver updates at your video card maker's website?

The reason I asked Stew if he installed any third party codecs is
because some like K-Lite Codec allows you to flip the video and invert
it and things. Thus you can correct the problem very easily.
