Can WMP11 really not display total library size?!?

Is it really true that WMP11 can't display the size of your library, a
playlist, a group of songs, etc.? When I select multiple songs in my library,
WMP11 does briefly show the number of selected items and total minutes in the
lower right corner, but there are 2 big problems:

- It doesn't show the total file size, which is important for copying to a
device.

- This works only if I'm in Song view in the Library. If I'm, say, looking
at a playlist (even in Song view), WMP11 shows the number of selected items
but not the time, let alone the size.

I am astonished that such a basic features would have been dropped from
WMP10 to WMP11. Anyone know of a workaround?

Try classic view,it shows size at far right.

Andrew - can I respectfully ask you to read the question before
posting ? You frequently just fire off a reply without looking at what
was asked.

The OP wants total file size (I guess in gigabytes).
There is no feature in WMP11 to display that value.

No, I don't know why either - along with many basic but useful user
feedback features, it was dropped somewhere between WMP10, WMP11 beta
and WMP1 release version

User evaluations very strongly concluded that the player was overwhelming to
normal users and that that data was meaningless, which is why it moved to a
gas gauge. =\
