Media Player Toolbar "seek" option

I lost my hard drive and have had it replaced. When I updated Windows Media
Player and started using it again, I noticed something missing. I use the
Windows Media Toolbar which displays when I minimize media player. I can
change tracks, pause, mute, and adjust the volume. I used to be able to
"seek" and move a little forward or a little backward in the current track
from that toolbar. I believe that I simply hovered over it and the seek
tool displayed - I can't recall exactly.

This is no longer there. To move forward or backward I must open the media
player and do it from the full window.

Is there any way to get this back? Is it just an option I am missing?

Thanks!

RickB

Re: Media Player Toolbar "seek" option

Try posting in a Media Player newsgroup, this one is for Media Center
(completely different animal).
