| WMP11 Library missing 4000 songs and all playlists
Everything worked ok until this morning. I have about 4500 songs, most of which were ripped from CDs using WMP10-11. Format is .wma lossless. Songs are on an external drive from my laptop which is connected and working. Now my library only shows 4 albums. I tried "add to library" which scans through my 4500 songs but does not add any--these were already added before and I guess WMP recognizes them as already added (?). I also have about 6 playlists, also located on external drive, but none are visible. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions to restore view and access to my songs/playlists? |

After trying multiple things, I deleted the old database which forced WMP to create a new one -- now contains all songs and playlists again. Here's what I used for reference: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925718 Hope it helps. "eorstail" wrote: > Everything worked ok until this morning.
