broadband low signal
Hi, Is there anything for increasing the wireless signal from my house (desktop hardwired) to my shop 130 feet away (laptop new)? I have linksys WRT300N Broadband Router and WPC300N Wireless-N Notebook Adapter installed. I have an excellent signal in the house but by time I get to my shop the signal is very low and ocassionally disconnects... Can I increase the signal with some kind of antenna or? Thanks for any help...3 days of headaches already Daryl |

130Feet, dude that's pretty long range for Wi-Fi, The Wi-FI Reception is mainly determined by Router, A High End WF Router will give you better reception, Belkin F5D8230-4 is a good router will offers terrific reception and it is available in india. keeping all that aside however, What's the Speed of your Internet connection? anything below 256kbps (32kBps) is worthless for a Wi-Fi setup and that too for long range like this. |
