Amazing. Dld 50 GB extra in a month and then pay only 1.5 Rs for it.

too good...256kbps unlimited for Rs. 400/- only...
keep downloading whole night

that 8 to 8 plan is too good to be missed, lets hope they will provide the service in my area, also, Hathway has good routing too, so pings will be better

I have been using a Hathway 8to8 128kbps 3GB @750 plan for the last year and have been satisfied with their service - I have already asked Hathway to change my account to this new 8to8 plan - looks good 400/- UNLIMITED @ 256kbps

Of late hathway's chennai download speeds have been very poor even on a dedicated connection. the 8-8 plan is too good. but will they really deliver????

Refer these as well. Looks like there is an always on connection @ Rs 749 with unlimited downloads but speed is not mentioned. As it says no other devices are required (modem etc.) it must be a shared connection

just contacted Hathway, first thing is that they dont have connectivity in my area

and the second thing is that these guys are denying any night plan that is 8 to 8.

that call center person told me that 8 to 8 plan is available and costs 500 bux and download limit of 500 MB, bah, this sux....

Somehow Hathway's downloads has always been very good at my place - yesterday I downloded a 60+mb file and the download was a straight line of 16KB/S. I think it may depend on the Internet load in your area. I live in a part of Mumbai which does not have too many Internet users.

I have confirmed the 8to8 plan with Hathway and they said it should start in a couple of days - I will let you guys know how it is once I get my conx.

I had asked about the shared connection and they said that they have disconitnued it BUT they would still honour their commitment to people who have already taken this account.

Speak to this person - I spoke to her today about changing my plan to the new 8to8. I think she looks after south Mumbai in which case ask her the contact details of the Hathway person who handles your area.

been reading for quite some time, but first post.
with the 8-8 plan i really hope they give a cable modem. been using the unlimited plan of theirs for 750-odd a month for the last 7-8 months, and the only problem was that it was through lan. you have no control over the router, hence can't forward/open ports. that meant that quite a few bots/servers on irc were inaccessible, and im marked as not-connectable by all the torrent sites. its pissing off when there are 25seeds but you can connect to only 3-4 of them.

doubt i'll remove the current connection though. i get 1gb a day with this connection, if i get the 8-8 setup on my second desktop it'll be around 2.5gb a day. cool

anyone have any idea what bandwidth is available with the flexisurf option? or is that the same as the current ol-24 connection?
