Any scheme available right-now that offers free mobile over contract

Is there any scheme available in India, where we can get mobile over monthly contract. I had seen this kind of contracts in US. They offer a yearly contract on which you can get the phone at a very reasonable price. But in India there is nothing like that available. We are having ample of models for mobile devices and somehow the telecome companies like Airtel must move to give us this features.

No there is no such thing available in India. You have to buy the mobile first and then you can go for connection. In India many telecom providers does not tie up with mobile manufacturer like outside. Things are different here.

That is right. You will need to go for the device first. Recently there was a scheme provided by Aircell who was selling iPhone under 2 years contract. Compare to the price of iPhone that you will get in market, the contract one was more costly. Here there are number things you will need to see before going for such kind of devices. Because it can be costly enough if you go blindly in buying a phone that does not fits your budget. Buying a mobile out of contract is more cheaper today. Later on you can go for a prepaid and postpaid connection. No one has yet attempted to go for this kind of schemes and in future also I do not think any one is going to do that. Because there will be a kind of monthly bill. It is better you buy a device via credit card. That will give you emi options where your payment in divided into different chunks for the entire year. That is much more affordable. There is a proper co-ordination required between the mobile and telecom companies. Then only it is possible to get the kind of contract you are talking about.

There is nothing like that. And if somehow any company tries to go for it, I am sure the mobile devices delivered under a contract will be far more costlier compare to market price. Also it will be a burden to surrender it.

You can find contract basis phone on the official website of telecom provider. Recently in news there was some info available on MTS. They were offing a good phone at a reasonable contract price. The offer is still available. They are selling HTC Pulse under 1 year contract. The only condition was to pay a monthly rental of Rs.1500 for the first 12months. I am not really sure about the market cost of this device. But for 12months you will have to pay Rs.18000 under which you can enjoy lots of free minutes and calling feature. The plan gives you 1500mins of calling, 1500sms and 1500mb of data usage. While the applicable call rate is same 1p/sec. The requirement to buy this phone is, you will need to give 2 copy of salary slip or IT return, id proof and address proof with photo. So if you are really looking for a contract based phone then just go for this one.
