Reliance offering 1GB 3G data for Rs. 123

For all Reliance users, here is a great news. So far many of use were using 2GB data which used to cost Rs. 125 for 1GB data. What if you get the 3G data for the same or less than that amount? Thats correct. RCom today slashed the 3G prices and made it affordable for all users.

They are now offering 1GB of 3G data for just Rs. 123, which is even cheaper than their 2G. For high data users they have launched 2GB at Rs. 246 and 2GB at Rs. 246. This sounds even cheaper than all other network providers in the country. So now its time for high speed internet. I hope other service providers like Airtel, Vodafone or Docomo also start offering 3G at such low cost so that all users can also afford this.

Though Reliance is the cheapest service provider in the country but at the same time they have the worst Customer Care service. I recently switched to Reliance network with CDMA contract. Now i want to get this 3G plan on my phone. Trying to contact their customer care representative to know more about the plan and how to activate this but they just keep me on their automated IVR system for more than 15 minutes. I might have tried calling them for more than 10 times so far but never got connected with their representatives.

Can anyone here please let me know how to activate this new 3G plans? There would be some SMS code for the same, right?

Yeah, you just need to send the following SMS to activate the 1GB 3G data for Rs 123:

SMS ACT < G123 > , send it to 53739

By the way, what is the number on which you trying to contact them? I get connected to customer care everytime on 18001003333 without any problem. Let me know if you need any more help.

Thanks a lot for the help Prajapati. I was trying the same number but didn’t succeeded connecting them even once. However I send that SMS and got the plan activated within half an hour.

Can anyone please let me know the new price for higher 3G plans?

I mean is their only 1GB tariff or they also released 2GB of more data plans? If yes, please let me know the same with price.

RCOM has launched 3 tariffs with the cheaper rates in 3G. Those are as follows:

1GB of data costs Rs 123
2GB of data costs Rs 246
4GB of data costs Rs 492
