Not able to connect to wifi of teracom

I have recently bought a new teracom(T2-B-Gawv1.4U10Y-BI) and the problem is that the computer is not able to detect the signal even though it is connected to the modem via lan cable, I don’t know what is the issue all about, I have tried disabling the "hide ssid" and so but then it Is not making any difference, is there anything that I can so to get it working??

As far as I can guess this issue might be because you won’t be in the proper range and so but then if you think that is not an issue then you can just check out the network with some other modem and find out if your new teracom(T2-B-Gawv1.4U10Y-BI) is faulty and so, just these possible solution and see if it is helping.
