download speed of Vodafone 2G and 3G

i wish to download files from the internet and looking for Vodafone in this case. as o have postpaid connection for the same and i wish t o connect the handset to it for a faster download. there is a 2G plan for Rs 599/-. from Vodafone which is offering unlimited plan and wanted to know in this case whether it would prove beneficial or not if i continue withe the 2G plan of vodafone. the speed will be worth or not for the download. for 5GB of download they charge about 1250/- and there is mo release of unlimited plan if we consider the 3G plan from Vodafone. i want to download video, audio or any other file format and want good speed and a maximum of 23 GB for month. is it possible om vodafone. waiting for a quick reply.

yes, i will specify the configurations for vodaofone and you will be able to take the decision on it. vodafone 3G is offering - 2 to 5 MBPS speed and 20 GB download in 3G either by means of 3G phone or data card which costs around Rs 3000. the costs differs in the 2G which is 599 but you are able to download 24x7 x30 days free @ 20 KBPS. the suggestion for you in this case would be to buy a GSM 7.2 mbps data card which is less than Rs 1750, if you wish to download a lot of stuff.

if you are looking for a GSM stick, then i would suggest

1.Huawei E1732 which is less than 1350 Rs.
2.Huawei E 173 from many online stores at 1400-1700 range.
3.Huawei E175o which will cost you around Rs 1400-1700 range.

these are all unlocked versions. and can be available to buy online

it is but obvious that you should move to the 3 G pack as practically you will get 20 to 30 times faster speeds on Vodafone 3G network when you make a comparison with 2G. and 2 G network is slow as compared with 3 G.

i think you should use the 3g data plan of vodafone as it is low in price compared to other providers and delvers high speed data rate. however i don't have an idea about whether it is having a 4G data plan.
