    After reading your situation carefully all I can think of suggesting are as follows:

    Just Disconnect the USB cable from computer.
    Connect Rj45 from modem to computer ethernet port.
    Try 192.168.1.1 .
    -In computer Network LAN Properties
    • New window;
    • select tcp/ip properties
    • Enter 192.168.1.10
    • 255.255.255.0
    • 192.168.1.1
    • apply Save.

    There is no hard rule that expresss your modem needs to be 192.168.1.1. Unequivocally a large portion of them claim roots in the industrial facility that way a few, however, utilize 192.168.0.1 and the "default" suits a large portion of unequivocally fine, without yet contemplating it. The most basic thing for your TCP/IP design to declare presumably not truly contrasting in Vista to XP is Obtain a system location programmedly. From your ipconfig yield, I'm figuring that is what is incident. Your PC, when it boots, searches for a "DHCP Server." The one it identifies will ordinarily be your modem. It asks for every last trace of the info to fill in the clear spaces on the TCP/IP config. Get a system location mechanically, in specialized terms, implies Use DHCP.

    It will give off an impression of being incident, with the modem DHCP Server saying,"You are 192.168.1.4. You are able to enter the net through 192.168.1.2 (this is me)". Since your modem totally is 192.168.1.2, this is fine but something's wrong, and it isn't fine. Open a summon window. Attempt the emulating summons:
    Code:
    C:\ > ping 192.168.1.1

    C:\ > ping 192.168.

    We all know that the latest versions of windows are not short of drivers, with a late re-commission of XP on an old machine could not do any networking until the drivers were acquired and instated. With true ipconfig the connector appears animated and well, with DHCP working. If its not too much trouble attempt the Ping charges.

    When you're utilizing the USB union, you are utilizing an offbeat Network interface, and it is perhaps given an offbeat IP location by the router, for the purpose that bodes well. Moreover Try reinstallling drivers. It works in some cases. Head off to gadget director and utilize the choice to redesign or reinstall. Additionally do attempt a different modem and check. It can be that your ethernet port on modem is flawed.
