unlocking tata photon + to use the sim option with vodafone

i want to use my vodafone sim with tata photon data card.
The model is EC 1261
Can someone suggest a way ?

It is possible but you cannot do that on your own. You will need help. There are many services which gives you unlocking support. I had recently Unlocked my phone to use it with any sim card. They might charge but it works. There are certain files which are needed to be overwritten on the modem. Because of which the usb modem can read all sim cards. I tired to find software for the same, but they are not available.

If your Tata Photon+ dongle is not locked to any kind of specific network then you can easily use it with any Internet Sim enabled card, even with Vodafone. If you want some information about the connection then you will have to contact the network carrier to obtain the configuration settings that you want to use with the support software and after that you can use it easily.

First of all try to insert any SIM in your dongle and if your dongle shows you invalid SIM then just ignore it and then close the dongle software. After that start Nokia PC from this link. After installing it, open PC suite and connect to internet option. Now go to configure and then choose your data card modem and make all operator apn setting like when you use Nokia mobile connection and finish it. Now you need to connect to internet via PC suite only.
