re: 3G in Android 2.2 Froyo

The next version of Android is on everyone's lips and announcements and rumors seem really attractive. To recap, we know that there will be Adobe Flash. And we think the performance will be really better, and that the office is reviewed .

The U.S. site tells us that Froyo embark basic tool tethering. This tool, for those who have never seen this word, you can share your 3G connection with any other device with wifi.

Basically, you can use your Android device as your DSL box and propose a network on which devices can connect. The big problem now is that this process is not under contract for all providers, so we'll expect that to change. The big positive is that this tool comes at the same time that networks of new generation in the U.S. anyway. These networks can theoretically reach of networks to 100 Mbps And there is really to share material flow. Hope you like to go with the information which i have given.

re: 3G in Android 2.2 Froyo

Many of the Android smartphone owners know that by using software downloaded from the specific market, or non-official ROM, it is already possible with use of the USB connection to share the 3G mobile phone with other devices.

Today's news is however that the next operating system release 2.2 Froyo Google, will be integrated into both the ' USB tethering that sharing via WiFi, allowing you to create a truly portable, allowing for HotSpot to surf from the comfort of a handset using the HSDPA connection on your phone without the need for Internet keys.

The limitations to a similar use of the connection varies from operator to operator, it should be pointed out that there is a possibility that, on the Italian territory, some companies do not fall within the shared Internet connection in all inclusive package, so before exploit this technology is well informed of any restrictions or prohibitions in the contract of use to avoid unpleasant surprises on your phone bill.

re: 3G in Android 2.2 Froyo

During the second keynote of the event Google I / O has submitted one of the latest and most sung, the brand new Android 2.2 operating system, called "Froy" (frozen yogurt). Rumors about the new features would include this version, which passed during the week circulated, be confirmed.

And one thing is clear in this event that the clear positioning of Google as a direct competitor of Apple and Android 2.2 is one of the most blatant examples, along with its new music store. For example, Froyo can create a WiFi access point from our 3G connection, and as a demonstration, they used to connect to the Internet a iPad.

One of the criticisms of Apple's device is designed to force you to hire a data rate itself (using MicroSim that prevents you to use the SIM in your phone). This is an additional cost to the user, and extra income for those in Cupertino by the agreements with operators. But Froyo, Google says "we'll make it easier, and look for your pocket." The phone maintains at least the 3G hotspot would be willing.

Re: 3G in Android 2.2 Froyo

The next version of the operating system Android Google will introduce a number of interesting innovations. Android 2.2 Indeed, in addition to full support for Flash technology and improvements in speed, will take advantage of tethering via USB and also to transform the phone into a Wi-Fi hotspot. Tethering via USB will use the Android smartphone as a modem for your computer, even if it is not clear whether this function can then be locked by different operators. On the iPhone, for example, tethering is possible only if allowed by the operator or by using special software, but it did not find Apple's official AppStore. This software, among other things, also allow you to share the connection of your iPhone via Wi-Fi.

Re: 3G in Android 2.2 Froyo

It will now be available for the Android Market directly from the web. Better yet, it will be possible, if you have Android 2.2, to install applications on your Android device directly from the website of the market. The Market is improving just as well! It is now possible to share an update all applications downloaded from the Android Market with a single click and secondly, to specify the market for some applications, they must update alone, without intervention from the user. The main strategy of Google is the web and in this strategy, HTML 5 occupies a very large share .

True to the spirit of HTML 5 Google has made possible the exploitation of API systems directly from a web application. Thus, Google Maps, web version, can use the accelerometer. Similarly, the Buzz web application can access the camera. However, it is obviously necessary that the user agrees to this.
