TATA DOCOMO 3G APN setting for Apple iPhone 4

I have recently purchased a new Apple iPhone 4 mobile phone. And yesterday i have also bought a new TATA DOCOMO sim card, but from yesterday I am looking to activate the 3G service in my Apple iPhone 4 and I cannot able to activate it. I want to know how can I activate 3g setting service in my mobile phone. Someone has already started using TATA DOCOMO 3G service then please help me to configure my mobile phone.

Did you handle to find the settings for Tata Docomo internet to run on the Apple iPhone? The basis I am asking is reason where I live in Mumbai, the signal response for Airtel and Vodafone is puny. At least that is what my friend has told me yesterday. When I was in India a several months ago, Airtel was running fine however Vodafone was weedy. At the present both companies giving a pathetic signal. Tata Docomo is working very well in my region now so I was thinking on buy Docomo sim card if the internet would run on the Apple iPhone. Please provide me 3g setting for it.

No General then Network after that Cellular Data Network in cellular Data
APN: Put “TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET” for postpaid, “TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET” if prepaid connection

Hi there, I am using Apple iphone 3GS mobile phone. And I want to use docomo’s 3g service in my mobile phone. And I have configure the my mobile phone with the above setting which is you have given for the Apple iPhone but the problem is the 3g service is still not working on my mobile phone. First of all, you have to SMS 3Glife to 53333 and after when you receive a message then simply from your iphone go to settings> General> Network > and then select Enable 3G, and after that click on the cellular data network and enter APN as TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET and save. Thats it, your phone is ready for 3g speed.
