Me and my girlfriend using Nokia 5800 and 5230 mobile phone respectively with the TATA Docomo sim card. I have heard that docomo are offering a free 3g service for a one week. So that’s why I am looking to try the 3g service on my mobile phone. I want to configure my mobile phone with the 3g setting for the same. But I don’t know how to configure the 3g service setting. Someone please help me to activate 3g service in my mobile phone.

I have given the setting of Tata Docomo 3G settings for Nokia 5800 and 5230. First you have to open your mobile settings of your mobile phone, after that go to the network settings and ne there you have to make a new connection by the APN as TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET then you have to save it.

Generate a WAP profile through given Settings:

Access Point Name: TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET

In case of the WAP 2.0 compliant phones, the following extra settings need to be done:

Phone IP Address: Automatic
DNS Address: Automatic
