How to check BSNL broadband work order status?

I have requested to make the change in broadband plan. I have decided to go from Combo 600 to Combo Unlimited 750 one from the BSNL of course. Now I am not confident that the plan has been changed, though I have been already alerted of that on my mobile phone. I actually want to check that on the internet. Can I do that? I do not want to get the heavy bill from the BSNL and I want to go for the download only after this is confirmed.

Well it is definitely possible that you can check the status of the work order. You will have to visit the official website of the BSNL and if you do not have that then you can go to data.bsnl.in. Once you will visit there you will have to make a log in and for that you will be required to have your portal ID and Password. When you will be successfully logged in then go under postpaid orders then enter your telephone no and search for the Search orders. There you can check the successful date and the status of the plan status as approved or not.

I have a doubt with this and I would like to get it cleared. I applied for changing the plan to the BSNL. I have changed from 250 to Unlimited 625 today and I did that by making a call on 1504. There was some lady there and she said that it will be made in 24 hours. I actually did not know how to check the status, but I tried your post, but the problem is that I do not have the Portal id. Where can I get that? Now regarding the doubt if I applied today then will I get the plan changed today and is there any deposit that I will have to pay for this?

I do not think Revati that you should believe in the words from the BSNL. They are really nuts. It may happen that they might change it in a day or it may even take week or even it may happen that they can make you wait for months. Regarding the Portal id I think you should contact the customer service and ask them about this. I am bit sure that they will give this for your particular phone number. The plan will be activated from the day they will bring it in the effect, and not when you have requested for it.

I will rather suggest you to register on the official website.

• Register as a new connection on the official website of the BSNL.
• Then there you can choose an ID of your choice.
• Then after that enter the Consumer Number as it is given in the phone bill.
• After that you will get the password via email.

I am sure that you will be able to check the status.

I am sure if nothing works then the following steps will work for sure.

• First open the BSNL Portal.
• Then Login using your portal ID and password
• There you will be able to see the below options:
  
  1. View Your Profile
  2. Change Your Portal User ID
  3. Change Your Portal Password
  4. Track Your Portal Order
  5. View Your PostPaid Usages
  
  
• You will have to click on the Track Your Portal Order.
• Fill in the details that it is asking for and for that please have the bill with you.
