I want to purchase the new USB Data Card for my lappy. I have recently heard about the Vodafone 3G USB stick. I want to know the speed and connection of this device before I spend money in buying this stick. Internet Speed is my prime requirement, can you please help and provide me some rays of light for the same.

Keep in mind Vodafone yet does not have any 3G coverage in India and which will not come before 1 September 2010 (They are among the chosen list of companies while the bids will be explored later this week). So whether you purchase a 3G stick or a 4G stick, you are only left through Vodafone’s GPRS/EDGE network which may offer speeds of 144kbps.

Roaming is totally free anywhere in India. However where you might have a benefit over different networks is when you roam outside India. Vodafone through its vast network all over the world and 3G being current in most components of the western countries, you will be benefited with real 3G experience.
