BSNL Broadband: problem in siemen C2110 modem after firmware upgrade

I have BSNL UL750 plan and using Nokia siemen c2110 modem. I have upgraded the firmware version to v55.1.01.02. After the up-gradation the yellow light is blinking too much and I was unable to connect. I do not want to go to Exchange office. Is there any way so that I can solve this issue? Should I rollback to the previous version. Even the speed is varying too much after update.Thank you in advance for your valuable suggestion. Your effort will be appreciated.

Even I have updated my firmware and I need to go to Exchange office and they reset it back to my original factory setting. So a word of precaution for Never do the update for siemen firmware modem even if your boss told you to do it. Because after upgradation there is nothing to gain and there is only lose. So the best solution is to go to your nearest exchange and get it done within same day.

Try the following instruction to reset it from the modem.Login to 192.168.1.1 with your password and Reset. If the reset is pin not working than rollback. Call to BSNL customer care and tell them that your reset pin is not working and can't inform them that you have updated the firmware. Make it simple just say that it is not working and they will change it. They will ask you there favorite question Is your window is genuine? always say yes.

After update your modem is not working than try this
1]Open Internet Explorer
2]Enter 192.168.1.1 and connect to modem
3]Login using default userId and password as admin.
4]Go to Configuration/ Internet connection
5]Try Delete pppoeUp it may take time
6]select Add
type PVC name as pppoe, VPI as 0 and VCI as 35.
click next
7] Make protocol=pppoe, Encapsulation type=LLC/SNAP, Encapsulation mode=Bridge
click next
8]check on Enable NAt and add default route
9]select session established by= Always on.
Click next
10]Click Apply
11]Close brower
12]Reboot the modem

having same issue with siemen after update. My modem model no siemens C2110 ADSL modem. Modem LED is blinking continuously. If I put the modem on and ps off and disconnect the phone line even than all the LEDs are turn on.. If I connect the lan and on the pc then the phone line is disconnected and all the three LED start blinking. I am unable to access the modem through opera and IE. One important thing my modem warranty has expired. Please help.

Updating the firmware does not harm to modem hardware and the problem is sure to be with your firmware software. So I have some suggestion you can try to solve your issue.
A] Make sure that your system is virus free.
B] while resetting sometime it take long time to reset. So try some more times with 1 or 2 minute more.
C] If it is successful than upgrade it with the BSNL provided firmware.
