How to get the modem to automatically connect to the net?

I recently got my BSNL Broadband connection and have Type 1 Modem. I am using Unlimited 750 plan. When I want to connect to the net every time i need to dial. Is there any way so that the Internet is always connected as I open the BROWSER without dial. Please give me the brief description what settings I need to change and How I can make that changes. Thank you in Advance.

So you need to switch back to Bridge mode from ppoe mode. If you do not need this setting then go to your modem. Go to WAN/internet connection page and look for a entry 0-35 and edit this entry. Over there you will find an option to choose between Bridge mode and pppoe mode. Select the one which you need. If you select the pppoe mode than switching on the modem will connect you to the internet.

You just need to make few changes in the setting to configure the Internet not to connect to Internet via modem. Just follow these basic steps.
1]Start the Internet Explorer and Click Internet options on the tools menu.
2]Select the Connections tab and check the Never dial a connection
    3]Click OK
After this setting the Internet Explorer will not try to connect to Internet using modem.

You can solve your issue of autoconnect to Internet. You Just need to set the Autoconnect value in the registry key to 0. For doing this follow the steps.
1] Go to start menu and select RUN
2]A command prompt window will open, type regedit and then press enter
    3]Locate these registry key:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\RemoteAccess\Profile\Con name
In the right side of pane , reset the value to 0 for Autoconnect by double clicking on it.
