Tata Photon+ Installation error on UBUNTU 9.04

I have taken new internet connection through Tata Photon+ which I am installing on my laptop using UBUNTU 9.04 which is UNIX flavor. But I am constantly getting error and not able to resolve the problem and when I contact to customer care there is not a single customer care executive to provide information on this problem. So if anybody has any solution for the same please provide me with the solution.

For proper install of Tata Photon+ follow below steps as
1.Uninstall the Huawei Access Manager from machine.
2.Go to Device Manager from Control Panel
3.Click on View move to Devices by type and then go to Universal Serial Bus controllers.
4.Uninstall the USB composite device.
5.Remove photon device and Restart the system.
6.Insert device and install the driver software again and after which you can work with it.

I am facing similar kind of error while i am trying to install Tata Photon + to my laptop which is running on UBUNTU 9.04 which is UNIX flavor. You have to contact to the service center for the solution for your product, so search for the nearer center from where you can get the solution for your problem of installation on UBUNTU 9.04.

You can install Tata Photon+ on Ubuntu in easy way than what you would do on Windows.

1. Connect the photon to the Laptop
2. Go to Preferences -> Network Connections -> Mobile Broadband
3. Click Add
4. It would automatically detect that the device is provided by Huwei.
5. Click forward and select the country as India
6. It shows that the provider as Tata.
7. Select Tata Photon+ and end.

If still not clear about what to do about that error that appearing on your machine while installing Tata Photon+ in your laptop. Thing you can do is just visit to the company web site they will provide you with solution for your problem as it is not solved by any other solution provided. Try to resolve your problem with company site as they have all the details of all specifications.
