TATA Docomo internet access too slow via Laptop

I have a Acer Laptop and i am trying to access Internet using my Laptop with my Huawai E1550 Modem. My setting are as follows: APN: TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET and the Access No: *99#. The Modem came with the Software Mobile partner that i am using to access the internet. The speed is very slow, the modem is able to go online; but the speed is as low as 3 Kbps. What should i do in order to increase the speed, Please provide me with a solution.

You have to make some chances in the windows under the 'Tata DOCOMO INTERNET' WAP profile in the settings:
Connection Name as --"TATA DOCOMO INTERNET"
data Bearer as --GPRS
Access point should be --"TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET"
Make User name as --blank
Password --blank
Session mode as --permanent
Homepage as --blank
Connection security --Off.

If you are not able to connect to the internet or the internet speed is very slow then you just contact to the customer care for the help. Ask the customer care for the proper Setting and further information about the speed. Then make the appropriate chances in the WAP Settings to access the internet or just install the setting that you will receive via a SMS from the company, this will solve your problem.

There are chances that your modem is not working properly, first check your modem's Compatibility. Also check the modems class, if it is a class 32 then it will work fine with the Windows xp. There are also chances that the settings in the WAP are not proper, obtain them from your service provider and install them to access the internet with a good speed.

Tata docomo internet, hmm .really it has very bad edge network.all those of my friends who are tata docomo users swear at its name except mumbaikars.even in tambram there is no connectivity for edge.in my case without any plan , i used to get 12kbps @1p/kb but when i activated 6gb plan fist speed and then connection also vanished.even i called customer care a hundered times without any result.go for vodafone,evdo or airtel
