INSERT Satellite Card message appears on the screen.

I have a old TV in which recently I had subscribed for a Dish cable network. They installed a set-top box with it. I got a satellite card which is inserted in the set-top box and then I need to pay for the same. But recently when I insert the card there is a message on the screen that insert a satellite card. But the care is already there. My TV is quiet old and I want to get a new LCD TV for the same. I think this can be due to my old TV. It has not appeared before. Is there instant fix for that. Or which is a nice TV you will recommend for the same. I want to buy a HDTV this time.

It is just a loose connection issue and there is nothing to deal with the TV. For this you just need to insert the Satellite card and then turn off your set top box. Then put it on back again. If again there same message appear then ask the company for replacement. There are few plasma screens that offer you full HD. For this standard you must must for some better LCD models.

HD-ready versions are the basic versions on most models currently sold. The standard 720p and 1080i are the standard HD ready (pixels interlaced), while 1080p full HD is the format (pixels progressive). For the dish tv issue it happens when the box is not able to identify your satellite card. You can turn off everything and put it back. Check again. Better if you call the customer care service of your cable company.

I am also using a Dish cable network. It is a card issue. You will need to change that. If you call the company they give you a replacement. It is not the TV problem. If you want to buy a new TV then there are some models which offers you a integrated DVD player, digital tuner (DTV MPEG-2 or 4) TNTHD and hard drive. It is a definite plus which allows for the best possible image quality. Indeed, a good screen is not enough, it will not make a bad analog reception. Go for the whole digital take full advantage of today's screens.

Old TV has slow response time and there set-top box are designed to give you the most best quality of video. Prefer to screen response time shorter which can lie between 3 and 6 ms. This will promote the flow during action scenes and you will avoid the effects of ghosting on the screen. A response time of falling below 8 ms concerns only the fans of action games. This is an important factor for obtaining clear images on your screen.

I had seen in a nearby store the LCDs begins with 15 inches (38.1 cm) and leveled off around 70 inches (177.8 cm). So there is great variety of TV set you can go for. In case of Plasmas they start at 32 inches (81.28 cm) and reach 71 inches (180.34 cm). The size you want then will determine the choice of technology. For Dish network it is better to use LCD TV. They have better connection support and you will not find such issue on it.

If you are going to get a new TV then there are lots of things you must look for. Like the brightness which gives you a clear image quality. The brightness of your LCD or Plasma adapts to the ambient light in the room. Overall the LCD is much cheaper than Plasma. The viewing angle on a plasma reaches 180 degrees and it is multi-directional. This is not the case of an LCD which tops out at 160 ° horizontally and 90 degrees vertically.
