Unwanted SMS keep coming

Hello to all,
I have Nokia mobile phone with AirTel mobile connection. From last 2-3 weeks I received some nonsense and unwanted sms in my mobile phone. I am getting frustrated with these unwanted sms. I don't know why these unwanted SMS keep coming? Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem. Please help me.

To prevent these unwanted SMS, you have to activate Do Not Disturb service(DND) in your mobile phone. I also had the same problem, then I activate this service and now I didn't get such type of unwanted SMS. In this case call your Airtel customer care and tell them to activate DND service on your mobile phone.

To avoid all these unwanted SMS like telemarketing calls, gift, voucher SMS, you have to register your mobile number in the NDNC Registry. After doing this process you will not received any Unwanted SMS in your mobile phone.
Just from your Airtel Mobile Phone call 1909(toll-free) and follow the instruction.

I also had the same problem. I also received such type of unwanted SMS. I tried various method, but nothing helps. Then I use following steps and now I don't such type of problem.
1.First go to message option of your mobile phone.
2.Now go to New message.
3.Now type "START DND" and then send it to 1909.
