MTNL 768 KBPS in 700 rupees

Hi to all. I have just setup a new system at my place. This is a assembled configuration as per my requirements that runs on Windows 7 operating system. I am using a 512 MB video card and Intel Quad Core processor on Gigabyte motherboard. I am looking out for internet connection from MTNL. Isn't there any plan such as MTNL 768 KBPS in 700 Rupees or so. Or don't you think MTNL should introduce one such mid-range plan?

Yes, even I think the same. I am currently using DSL_Unlimited_599 plan of MTNL. This gives me 512Kbps download speed. But I also feel that there should a likewise plan at around Rs. 700 at a speed of around 700- 800 Kbps. For the time being you may try the DSL_Unlimited_599 plam which is also quite well.

I am also looking for a plan upgrade. I currently have a BSNL connection which gives me a speed of 256 Kbps. I am looking to witch to MTNL. My BSNL internet usually is very slow and many times I have no connectivity due to some BSNL server issues. So even I am eying a MTNL connection and therefore I also need a suggestion for a plan of around 500 - 700 Rs.

Okay people I guess you all should go for the MTNL's DSL_Unlimited_999 plan. This is a really cost efficient plan as compared to all other plan by MTNL. This gives you unlimited download and that too at a speed of 1 Mbps. I believe this is really worth the money for this plan which costs Rs. 999/- Also the download time is also negligible and hence it is far more better then BSNL.

I guess no one has visited the MTNL website. MTNL has already introduced an internet connection at Rs. 749 rental. This gives you unlimited download throughout the 24 hrs. The speed is also great at upto 752Kbps. And this plan is already in use by many in Mumbai. I myself am having this plan. So you may check this plan details from MTNL.
