It is possibly the automatic update. Also there is a possibility that some application that is been installed updates itself without even making us know. Like for Adobe reader 9 updates itself automatically. So it may that the application might be downloading the contents automatically.

Hello,
Have you checked your internet connection with another computer, that is if you are available with another computer then you can test on that computer if there is the same problem. If you are a linux user or you know linux, then I would recommend you to run the live CD of any linux operating system flavor, and check if the problem is still there. The benefit of live CD is that you do not have to install the whole operating system, you just have to insert the bootable CD and then the operating system starts and you can check if the problem is the same there.
can u give me link for "trojan remover" ???
well i dont have any other PC.....so is formatting last hope ???
the links are not allowed on this site, but go to google, just type trojan remover, and a site namely simplysupersoftware shud come up...click and download
its a 30 day trial version...but is one hell of its kind
well i tried trojan remover and it detected one file and one error in registry...but its not able to remove it......tell me how to proceed
Dude,
You have to set your automatic updates option in "control panel" to 'notify me...' and check your firewall settings if you have any suspicious programs accessing the internet. Dump Avg and use Avast! 4.8 for free. It offers better protection against viruses. Hope this helps.
