Need information on Global Roaming Photon

Hi,
Does any one know some thing about the roaming charges of a USB modem. I have TATA Photon USB modem. I am using a postpaid connection on it. So what are the procedure to activate roaming and what are the charges for the same. Is it costly. Second thing is the roaming limited to withing the country or outside also. What are benefits from the same. Thank in advance.

Yes you can use the modem anywhere in India. TATA indicom offers you this service on your Photon Modem. There are some 500 hotspots across the country. This includes airports, hotels, cafes, stadiums, etc. In the same way you can also used a dial up internet over 300 cities across India. The charges are charged on the basis of per minute billing.

You can use the Modem outside the country also. The services are provided for 160 countries outside India where you can enjoy Dial up, wired broad band and Wi-Fi. You can use this by iPass Client. it is a simple client which assist for using internet. The charges varies as per the area. Like for cities of North America you have to pay Rs. 10 per min on Wifi and Wired broadband and Rs. 3 on dial up. The charges of first two is common for Europe and Asia. Only the last part changes to Rs. 7 & 6.

If you are a traveler than there are multiple ways by which you can access internet. That is first by using a hot spot. There are numerous hot spot location available world wide. Second a wired Ethernet connection. Under this the net comes through cable. And the third is dial up service. You can access net through a wired telephone line. This is actually costly because the charges here are per minute basis.
