In case of the WAP 2.0 compliant phones, the following extra settings need to be done (visit http://www.tatadocomo.com for the list of WAP 2.0 phones):
Under Options > Advanced Settings
Phone IP Address : Automatic
DNS Address : Automatic
Primary name server : 0.0.0.0
Second name server : 0.0.0.0
Proxy server address : None
Proxy port number : 0

I am planning to take Tata Docomo prepaid card, can you give me details about the GPRS activation charges, I heard that Tata docomo GPRS is fast and quite cheap as compare to other Network service provider. please give the GPRS tariff details.

Here I am listing some simple setting to activate GPRS in your TATA DOCOMO mobile. Now this settings work for Nokia 60 series phone. First to activate it by customer care type DIVEIN to 52270. If this does not work then to set the setting manually try this settings. In profile settings Connection name - TATA DOCOMO DIVE-IN, Data Bearer - GPRS then in connection settings APN - TATA.DOCOMO.DIVE.IN, Username - internet, Password - internet, Connection security/ authentication - off, Session - Permanent. Now go in Advance settings Primary IP address (phone) - Automatic, Primary server - 0.0.0.0, Secondary server - 0.0.0.0, Proxy server - 10.124.94.7, Port: 8080
