MTNL Slashes unlimited broadband plan by 60 %. Now you can get 512 kbps speed at Rs. 999 (Before 256 kbps - at Rs. 999), 1 Mbps at Rs. 1599, 2 Mbps at Rs. 3999 and 4 Mbps unlimited plan at Rs. 4999.

Now MTNL tariff rates are very low compare to Other ISP. Now again competition start in broadband.

MTNL also launched 3G service in mumbai. Now in following area 3G service available Cuffe parade to Mahim , Parbhadevi to mulund , Eastern Exp. Highway to Airport to Western Exp. Highway.

It's a good news. I am using reliance 300 kbps connection at rs. 800 + 12.5 % service tax it cost me Rs. 932. Compare to that MTNL 512 kbps plan is good. how much download speed i will get on MTNL 512 Kbps connection.
