    Disable Web Proxy

Manually disable the proxy server settings in your Web browser. To disable the proxy server in Microsoft Internet Explorer, follow these steps:

Note Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If so, consult your documentation to complete these steps.

    • Click Start, point to Programs, click Control Panel and then double-click Internet Options.
    • Click the Connections tab, then click on LAN Settings.
    • Click to clear the Use a proxy server check box, click OK, then click OK.

When you connect to the network and the next want to use the proxy server, you must re-use a proxy server for your website browser.

    Disable the WinSock Proxy client

Manually disable the WinSock Proxy client using the WSP Client tool in Control Panel. To do this, follow these steps:
    • Click Start, point to Programs, click Control Panel and then double-click WSP Client.
    • Disable the WinSock Proxy client enable check box, then click OK.
    • To restart the computer, click restart Windows now.

When you connect to the network the next time and use the proxy server, you must re-enable the WinSock Proxy client.
