    A Power Divider is a standard accessory in antenna, usually shielded, star-shaped, fitted with an electronic impedance adjustment so it can "divide", a signal of satellite , covering frequencies ranging from 5 to 2400 MHz. They are transparent to the rise of a remote power, passing 5 to 24 DC volts. The dispatcher is often installed Between the Satellite and Box

    Re: What is Satellite Power Divider?

    A power divider consists of three ports: one input and two outputs , the circuit is to divide the input power into two output ports. Power dividers and directional couplers are passive devices used in the field of radio technology. They couple part of the transmission power in a transmission line by a known amount out through another port, often by using two transmission lines set close enough together such that energy passing through one is coupled to the other.

    Re: What is Satellite Power Divider?

    A power splitter (aka 3dB combiner, power splitter, splitter etc..) Is used to couple two, three or four antennas on a single antenna connector.

    Such a combination antenna has a meaning only if:
    - A larger gain is required;
    - A larger area or directions must be covered;
    - Install an omnidirectional radiator with a large downward inclination.

    A new power divider is now available for 5GHz, used on the entire band from 5 to 6GHz. Available with connection for 2, 3 or 4 antennas, all are N female connectors.

    These units are ultra wideband (40-2150 MHz) power dividers.They enable the splitting of signals on a cable carrying both VHF/UHF terrestrial TV channels (at 54-806 MHz) and satellite IF channels (at 950-2150 MHz).And you can use LNB and switch to use tv in another room with your satellite.
