MTNL 3G service available in mumbai

I want to know that is MTNL 3G service available in mumbai or not ? One of my friend who is using MTNl sim he told me that he is able to use 3G service in mumbai. like he is getting surfing speed around 256 kbps and on phone he is accessing internet fast.

I don't think MTNL launch 3G in Mumbai. because they not announce about launching. where u check that speed ?

MTNL not launched 3G services officially in mumbai. if he is getting 3G services i that will be for testing. how much he is charging for that.

I don't know about charges but i saw speed on internet he is getting download speed 30 to 40 when he connect his phone to computer.
