    Router for MTNL broadband

    Hi,
I have applied for MTNl broadband connection, When asked the MTNL about the brand and other details of the Router, they have no answer for that. So i have decided to buy my own router. Please advice a better known Router for the same and the cost of it.

For router, you can try LinkSYS, Dlink is a good router too, after all you will want to cross-update LinkSYS firmware with DDTWare or other third party firmware, although it's not official, it boost the ranging effectiveness of your router.

If you want to buy go for D-Link ADSL router. It may cost around 5000/-. or you can go for Dlink 502T it is used mostly by everyone in Mumbai for MTNL Triband. Costs around 2k. You would get it in every computer shop. They are very common Let the MTNL guys provide the router for you, so if there are any problems with the router they will replace it with a working one. You can buy a Router from a shop where they sell all Computer accessories & computer hardware.
