| For low Broadband Speed...
When I test the speed of the portable reaches up to around 7-9, which is okay. But the stationary ports ALWAYS around 2-3. Whether both are running or if only one is running. Almost always Do not load pages when I surf, and it is just a white image. I may press on the link/write the address again for me to come forward. It has been like this for quite a while now, and not on what it may be. I've spoken with my broadband provider, and they say that something must be wrong with the stationary because the portable has good speed, which I agree. What can be the cause? Help. |

The problem may be the cable? Or maybe the network card? Since it is a desktop computer, you can always try to change network cards, I guess you already tried to update drivers for the card? Can also try playing a bit with the duplex settings and similar on the card. TP cable is always to look too.

| Re: For low Broadband Speed... Spyware Doctor plus AntiVirus. Have tried to uninstall, but positive results. In addition, more evidence has the same portable antivirus. Not now, for the part of dodgy broadband speed with them. I topped with ENTIRE 0.4 kb/s. |

Was have the same problem on my laptop. Recognized, however, that it is because of my computer sucks performance costs as it draws down the speed considerably. Nothing like that simple then? |

Which OS are you using? In XP, go to: Control Panel -> Network Connections -> select "Properties" on the network card is linked to, probably "Local Area Connection". There, click the button labeled configure the network card. You can go through the device, select properties on the NIC. The next step is a little tweaky to explain where it is up to the drive it was the settings for the duplex, but there should be, is in testing with the full and half-duplex and also to switch between 10/100/1000 in link speed. Then you can try to test the TCP Optimizer, it is XP you use, usually do not directly affect you when it's like this low speeds involved, but it can be worth a try anyway.

Do you have router connected when you test? For you should not have. The rate will surely be at least 2/3 of the promised, and if you are working on a computer. So it is probably that your computer that is crap. Look to the duplex setting on the NIC (it should be on auto). |
