After conquering the South, Sun Direct, a leading Direct-to-Home (DTH) services provider, today made its foray into the metropolis and aims to go pan India within a week.

Offering Free Dish and Set Top Boxes with every connection, Sun Direct aims to grab a share of three million subscribers by the end of current fiscal from its present share of two million, Briefing newsmen on the launch of city operations, Sun Direct Chief Operating Officer Tony D'Silva said Sun Direct's services and bouquet of packages were value for money as they have custom rigged packages for every state and region. With an inventory of Set Top Boxes to cover 745 days, Sun Direct offered a wide variety of packages with in the range of Rs six to Rs 195.

The company claims to have registered 1.9 million subscribers in its first phase of launch since December 2007.
