Looking at the ad carefully, its a limited period offer (check the right side). Not sure whether both UL offer and free Nov. usage offer are for limited period or only the second one.

Being a UL+ user, I must add that we need better speed. We don't even get 256kbps in peak hours. Unless speed improves to 512kb-1mbps I can't call it a good news.
Warning: I have an attitude and I know how to use it.

Re: BSNL reduced Unlimited plan rental to Rs 500

Yes Officially the offer is only for three months but I do not think the value will be increased again. This date line is the marketing strategy.

Do you think this reduction of value is without any reason? Already unlimited plan 256 kbps becoming less popular day by day for that reason BSNL has compelled to do so. Do you know many user of the UL 750 has migrated to Home 500 or if anybody effort than Home 1000 or UL 1350 plan when they realize they are getting less usage 2700 MB(Maximum) in a whole day with high electricity bill (but practically most of the UL 750 user usage is around 1400-1600 MB in a day because very few people can download 24 hours) user want to change the plan. So BSNL had to promote UL 256 offer so they can find only the one way to promote by reducing rental of the plan.

Last thing is that if BSNL will make this 500 Rs rental UL plan permanent then also I do not want to change my Home 500 plan and most of the limited user will also not change their plan. Is not it?

i will really quit bsnl bb through landline it has become sluggish and a burden because of slow speed and non portability, better and cheaper wifi bb like:
1)tikona 499 (it has double upload and download than bb 500 combo all plans plus free wifi modem)i have seen it and it performs better and has superb speed has circuit breaker so that bill is not charge in excess of rs 500,
    2)bsnl unlimited like cdma 750/mth 3.1 mbps(runs near 2mbps),
3)bsnl 3g(3.6mbps) 700/mth have emerged and more promising (6 months package 4200 runs around 3mbps)
and are far better than the useless landlines bb with slow connection and high price. It can be easily determined by calculating total upload and download per day or month.
