| Partition Table Fixing
My comp will not boot to windows when i used Powerquest Partition magic to resize the Windows partition by 10GB and decreasing the data partition by 10GB. I tried windows recovery on C: Rebooted and did not work. I did FIXMBR C:\ And instead it got rid of the partition making it seem like unallocated space. I run test disk of knoppix and both drives have the error. "Warning: Incorrect number of heads/cylinder 16 (NTFS) !=255 (HD)". i do not know how to make partition when i ran test disk? What do you recoomend? |

Did you try PartedMagic, & it comes free. You can also try using SuperGrub Disk which is also free & says that it recovers windows bootloader something { i am new to it }. should have a go for these
