Have you checked properly the connections? If your hD is not detected this is perhaps because it is not well connected to the motherboard or the power of SD is not well positioned.
it was working very well before formating, after i reinstalled the windows ! the pc didn't detected hard drive .
Do i have to change something in my Bios ?
first you have to make bootable floppy from motherboard cd.
then during xp setup press F6 to load third party drivers.
then your harddisk will get detected.
other solution is that you can disable raid in bios settings.
hope it will help you.
