 HP 840B DVD Writer cannot read DVDs
Hi, I have purchased a DVD Writer HP 840B (OEM). Theoretically it should read and write all types of DVD. It only reads and writes CDs but cannot detect a DVD at all. I have a DVD Rom on the same PC came alog with the PC. That works fine. I have downloaded the firmware from HP Website. But No luck. I think I have used the right firmware otherwise, how can I uninstall a firmware for a DVD Drive. Any Ideas please? The seller you know Ebay, cannot help me getting the problem resolved.
