Driver Missing of CD ROM SC-148A of Samsung

I recently formatted my PC. After that, I realized that the sound from my system is missing. To fix this problem, I inserted the drivers CD into the CD ROM and was installing sound card drivers again. But then, all of a sudden, the CD stopped working. When I tried to trace out the problem, I realized that my CD ROM has disappeared. Its an LG drive. In the device manager, it shows that the driver for that CD ROM are missing. I searched on internet for that drivers but couldn't find.

How is problem occurred? Did i do any mistake while installing sound card drivers? I wonder!!!
Where can i find my CD ROM driver on internet? Pls help.

Check in the BIOS setting if its showing your CD_ROM. If yes, then by installing the suitable drivers, you can get back your CD_ROM working. Or else you will need to format your machine again.
