Dell Inspiron 5520 error "No Bootable device"

I am using a Dell Inspiron 5520 which was working fine for 1 month of usage. But after that when ever I restarted my computer then I used to get an error message that says "no bootable device". But after a couple of restart it will start to work normally. So, can anyone tell me if it is a problem with RAM, processor or hard drive in my system or something else? Thanks

Can you try to reseat the hard drive in your Dell Inspiron 5520 computer and then test again by rebooting the computer and checking if you still get that error message? It that doesnt work then it seems to me like the hard drive in your computer is failing. You can try to run some Hard Drive Diagnostics software to test the hdd and see what you get in the results.

Have you tried pressing the F12 key on your keyboard when you are at the Dell Logo and then you will get options to choose Diagnostics where you can run extended diagnostics on your hard drive. If you get any error code then you can post it here. Incase the diagnostics passes then you can try to restore your pc back to factory settings and check if this does the trick.

After searching for some solution for your Dell computer I found out that it is a hard drive problem. There is either Samsung or Seagate or a combination of both hard drive installed in Dell Inspiron 5520. There is a software called ES Tool which is a hard drive Diagnostic program that you can download from Samsung website to test the efficiency of your hard drive.
