    Canon Pixma MX310 Printer stopped working on Windows 8

    I am using Canon Pixma MX310 Printer since long time, earlier it was connected with Windows 7 which i upgraded to Windows 8 about 8 months ago. I installed the printer on this new OS as well and it worked fine until a week ago. But now it suddenly stopped working. I tried several troubleshooting like uninstalling, re-installing updating drivers from Device Manager, and and many more but none of them seems to be working. Windows can see the printer but it wont print. At the same time when i connect it to my other Windows 7 laptop, it prints fine. I have no idea what is wrong. Hope someone of you can help me out with this.

    Instead of downloading the drivers from the CD which you are using from over a year, why dont you download the new updated drivers and install? It will work without any problem on your windows 8 as well.

    Thanks for the advice, can you also please provide me the direct download URL for the same because when i am searching for my model number, it the page redirecting me somewhere else? Thanks again.

    Well, it is right here Pixma MX 310. Choose your operating system, select Drivers and click download. make sure to choose 32bit or 64bit system properly.
