Personally i have used Denon D7000 and Sennheiser HD 800. Let me explain the one by one.

D7000 is a very good headphone (especially for gaming) with its natural wood packing excellent sound effects. Its even comfortable on your head and ears for longer periods with its pleasant design. Acoustic optimizer can be achieved by radiation through the filter to the acoustic part of the sound pressure is radiated to the back of the diaphragm. On the other hand the Sennheiser HD 800 is also named in the most dynamic headphones. This hand-crafted high-fidelity headset is aimed specially for music listeners. You get great bass and sound effects in musics. Compared to the Denon D7000, it is bit heavier in the weight, weighing 330 grams. The finish and build quality are perfect.

So, in short, both headsets are good but yet i'll suggest you to go with Denon D7000 because i replaced HD 800 with my Denon D7000 and still stuck with the same happily.

Denon D7000 is really impressive with the perfect stereo sound. Low and high in balance and good shooting makes you really get into the real music. It doesn't matters whether you are listening classical or pop music. This kind of ultra high-end headphones only make sense if the rest of your music system is of high quality.

And if talk about HD-800, it is completely new design with best sound quality and comfort for your head and ears. I think manufacturers have work hard to make this product. As Fullorton said above, i think yes, you should go with Denon D7000
