    cool Why Solid State Drive?

    Hi
Can anyone please tell me the benefits of SSD over conventional HDD.

What connector does a SSD use? Can I connect it with SATA cable replacing my old SATA HDD?

As compared to a hdd, ssd are faster in writing and accessing data and they are more robust as well, they are silent and they produce little heat and consume less power as well, the only issue with the ssd is their cost.
