There's no need for some extra power SMPS. Because all the USB hub greater then 4 port have external power supply... All the best!

I wonder what is the rate or cost of this 31 Port USB Hub because it seems like a mod done and not branded from any company. Although this could be counted as a great achievement incase if made for school projects or showcase. I checked out some site that werer selling similar kind of product but it was sold.

There is a company called Cambrionix which provides 49 and 32 port usb. I found this image of 49 port usb. Rightnow when I tried to find his product on their site they showed up 32 port usb hub only. That is really awesome to have that much number of port. But they can be mostly used for charging stuff, you cannot get a better data transfer ratio from it. There should be some kind of controller for that.
