Asus EEE keyboard keys press wrong button (I)

Hello, I was working on my asus EEE pc, (windows 7) and midway through an Internet browsing session my keyboard stopped working properly. Some of the keys only press the I character, including my backspace and delete, in fact it seems stuck between typing and deleting the letter I :/ I have tried system restore and deleting/reinstalling the keyboard drivers but no luck. What else can I do?

Can you go into settings, select language and input, then double check everything is set correctly to your local language. This issue can also occur if you have the incorrect language setup, for instance in the UK if you set it to 'English (United States)" then you get some different keys pressed and vice versa.
