I have recently bought Western Digital Caviar Green 3TB SATA 3Gb hard drive and I am willing to use the same in my iMac 27 so I just wanted to know that Where would be the best place for placing external temperature sensor on the same, is there anyone who has knowledge about it and can help me with the same???

Even I am looking for the same and I had thought of opening it safely and find it out but then I have heard that it will be voiding the warranty of the hard drive, so I just wanted to know if anyone has tried it out and can help us in identifying the exact location where we can install a temperature sensor. Any help regarding the same will be highly appreciated.
