| Re: HP Officejet 4500 cannot connect to the wireless network
Well let me tell you that some of printer does not recognize different encryptions, for example if one printer is able to connect properly with WPA-encryption so other might not able to. Well I am not able to find HP's website any specifications regarding this. Well I would like suggest that do try setting it to WEP-encryption and check that it is been working, if you already having WEP then try it on WPA. When you are doing this then better make sure that the encryption chosen in your router is been seen at your printer. If you are selecting WEP in your router and selecting WPA when connecting with printer, then it very much sure it will not work. |
